Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.

Yesterday 3rd Oct. I completed my work @ 9 pm and went with my collogue to CT2 parking to get my bike.But was shocked to see flat front tyre. I was upset and started to think other ways to go home.
As my home is about 18km from office, I am supposed to take 2 PMT buses to reach home. And it’s been years I haven’t travelled by bus so I don’t even know their timings. I was thinking what other options I have. I looked around but didn’t see any of my friend’s bikes in parking. None of my friend with bike stays near to office.

My collogue said why are you so much upset and troubled, smile. And suddenly I remembered that one of my friend works in shift and might have a bike. So I called him, and by God’s grace he answered the call.
He had his Activa in parking, as he met with an accident few months ago and still not completely recovered from it. Without any second thought he gave me his bike.
So only by God’s grace I got a ride home from nowhere and that to a brand new Activa which has completed only 373km, with almost full fuel.

Well, all this happened in span of 10 mins or so, but I didn’t pray to God to help me, in fact I forgot about Him. But He made a way for me out of nowhere. So all Praise belongs to Him.

I have been hearing messages and reading Bible that God is orchestrating your ways. He loves you and knows what you need and provides at right time. He has planned all things that you will need in your future. All these things were true from yesterday’s incident. I should have known that God is in full control when my collogue suggested to smile.

Praise the Lord.

19 Look, I am about to do something new;
even now it is coming. Do you not see it?
Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness,
rivers in the desert.

Exodus

In month of April 2010, the recession period was fading. I desperately needed to change my current job for professional growth. I was working there for almost 2yrs. I used to pray every day when I would ride my bike to work or client side…”Jesus plz HELP me…give me another job” those words used to come from crying heart of mine.
I also got offers from 2 big companies; however I was kept on hold. Means God showed me He is working for me..great!!!..with this indication I resigned my job, and started my search for a better one.
For almost 3 months I was searching job. I have been knocking doors of almost all software companies of Pune. But God had another plans for me. God kept on speaking with me in many different ways
Hebrews 13:5 (verse from Bible). . . God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” And so God was faithful to me.
He spoke to me from all the little knowledge of Bible and praise & worship songs I have. From the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from Daniel 3(story from Bible)And Daniel in the den of Lions Daniel 6(story from Bible)
Isaiah 43:2(verse from Bible)
“When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.”
Those words of Bible were all of a sudden so sweet and meaningful which till yesterday were just verses in Bible.
All the good works/mistakes of Bible characters like Job, Moses and David etc were blessing to me they really taught me how to behave in such situations. This was the time my faith was really put to test. When help of relatives or friends is of no use, you have to completely rely on God Almighty.
In 3rd month of job search I didn’t have any money in my bank accounts. And I was getting frustrated. I’m very glad that my parents were patient with me and understood my needs.
One fine day I met an old friend Nitin and I was having a chat with him. I said wow nice ID (company Id card). He said soon even you will have one like this. I was so pessimistic then, that I laughed in my mind…’how can I get a job in such a company’. But I was surprised to see him having a faith that I will get a job. It gave a little boost to my faith.
On next Sunday morning after Church service my uncle and I was having a walk towards parking and he was telling me that …’Some times God wants to check how faithful you are even in times of difficulties’. That small sentence struck me and I realized that how foolish I was to get frustrated and depressed.
In the following week I went to our Colony prayer meeting (on thursday). There was an elderly couple from Jesus Calls ministry. They shared word of God with us (kind of preaching). Selven uncle who is like my God father, he insisted aunty (couple from Jesus Call) to pray for my job. Our entire pray group now knew that I was in need of job and they remembering me in their prayers. So the following week Selven uncle called me and told me to kneel and pray for longer time, get my relationship with God straightened. So I followed the suit.
And coming Saturday was another interview lined up from company.
It was rainy season so I was not properly dressed and also not properly prepared for interview. But still I was praying to God and remembering Psalms 23 (chapter from Bible). And to my surprise God gave me job in that company.
So only by God’s grace I got a job. I praise the Lord for this might work in my life.
